Fun Monday - Favorite Ornament

Our hostess this week is the lovely Lady K, who

In the spirit of the season I would like to see your favorite Christmas tree ornament. Not to be confused with the WHOLE tree. I want you to zoom in and show me one or a few(you know I can't choose just one!) of your favorite ornaments. If you don't decorate a tree, show me your menorah or dreidel, Kinara, or Yule Log. I want to see your favorite decoration for this holiday season.

I have had several favorite ornaments through the years that are either misplaced or broken, but this

is an angel that I made myself. She is patterned after an old window shade pull. She has travelled well through the years and is aging gracefully.

SOOOOOO unnecessary for you to point out that the JIBJAB video I made for CJ was sponsored by the evil Pepsi Co!! I was SOOOOOO hoping no one noticed that!!

Ok, so I am trying to start my first blog this morning and I can't figure out how to make a new paragraph! LOL HELP A SISTA OUT! Please? Is there some HTML class for Dummies? :(

Sandy said...

meg - just double space it (hit enter twice after the last sentence in the first paragraph) and it should work...

Megnificent said...

Thanks, Sandy~ For some reason that isn't working for me but I found a little code that worked. I think I got my first blog up and running! It's going to drive me nuts, though, that the word "suppose" in the first paragraph situated itself like it did. :/

Love your angel. I'm in awe of people who can make things like that. I'm all thumbs.

Ok, can you send me your email so I can ask you questions? I don't want to clutter up your blog with my silly questions...but I'm lost! I'm sure there's some order of things I'm supposed to follow (such as this Fun Monday thing...list???) but I don't know what to do!! Thanks.

Very nice! Almost makes me wish I knew how to crochet.

I really love the White House ornament in the post above, too.

That is beautiful - I know how to crochet, but only big loopy things like afghans, which only make it to snake-size.

Oh, Sandy, I never finished reading my fun Mondays (I'm sorry I'm here late :/).

I'm tagging you and decided to catch up a bit and didn't realized I had missed yours. My post will be up shortly, but I thought I'd give you a head's up :).
