I actually had two winners on this. No, the answers did not come in simultaneously but they were both right and both specific - just specific in different places.
The megnificent Meg correctly identified this picture as:
"So Clay and I have been studying this picture for a greater part of the night. Clay has identified it as some sort of rare caliche from around town. Big dummy. And I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's rocks in your washing machine."
So true.
Then Laurie from one of my favorite blogs sent this:
"hmmmm.... it looks like a small dish of rocks.possibly agates. i'd venture a guess that they'resomething the l'il man found and you dug them out ofhis pants pockets when you were doing the laundry."
So true.
It is the rocks from ONE load of the small boy child's laundry, which I found after the load was done. It is, according to lil man, a rare form of caliche and he must save it. Anyone need any stonewashed denim?
Thanks to everyone for playing and, if that's what gallstones look like, I don't want any!
Laurie and Meg, if you could please email me your addresses, I will get your lovely parting gifts in the mail.
