Simple Pleasures

We recently bought a new mattress and box spring set that are MUCH taller than our old ones (which went into lil man's room). This necessitated buying new linens which in turn led to buying new curtains.

I normally favor the cool colors in my bedroom but this time, the comforter I bought is earth tones. My curtains had been sage green but they were just not gonna work.

I went to the local WalM*rt and bought brown curtains. I hung them at night.

At night they are brown.

When you turn the lamps on, they are brown.

The color is bad in this photo but sunlight turns my curtains into the warmest cinnamon color. It makes me smile every time I walk into the room.
