I noticed a theme here :) Do you have any blood left? I haven't donated in ages, I don't think anyone would want my blood. I think they would always worry there could be little cancer cells floating in there. Don't think I'd pass the screening for that reason but haven't checked.
Way to go! My daughter is a regualr donater too.
I always wanted to donate blood when I was under 110 lbs. and that lasted until I was 35 years old. Now that I'm 125 lbs. and can donate, I never have. I do think about it though. Bless you.
I donated once, I'm ashamed to say that. I was anemic - and I know I'm not anymore. I can't schedule it during my working hours and that is the only time.
You have a serious collection there.
very halloween appropriate!!!
well done you for donating, i do donate must get me one of these shirts, i love the the 'my family....' one
I didn't think to post my donate shirts, Oh,well. I have to agree with laurie, very halloween appropriate.
You have a great t-shirt collection. I hoping one day I can get up the nerve to donate!

My shirts had a theme, too, though not as useful as yours. I had a couple of these, but have no idea where they are. I kept passing out after giving blood so I've had to pass on it lately....
Wow, Sandy. As I said in my post, tees say a lot about a person, and today, I've learned something about you. Get this...I bet you motivate more than a person or two to donate LIFE SAVING blood!
Great message, great post!
(and thanks for your example and kinda-sorta challenge without it being anything "official")
Robin from PENSIEVE!
Great cause!! I love the last shirt! :D
Love the tees. As a diabetic and frequent hospital "guest" I can't tell you how much I appreciate the gift of life people give when they donate. It's saved my life more than once.
Thanks for the great pics!
Thank you for giving blood! Several people in my family have used the blood from the blood banks.
When my son had surgery I was so worried about the blood that I did what they call around here a targeted donation and gave blood myself for his surgery. I also lined up my brothers and nieces because we were all the right blood type - it worked great.
Oh, almost forgot, Great shirts!
That's awesome Sandy!
My Mom donates every chance she gets, since she knows she has a rare blood type.
I agree with Robin, Great message, Great Post!
Thank you for donating.

Great T-shirts for a great cause. I have thought about giving blood, but I don't know if I can. It used to be that when I just had blood drawn (during pregnancies), I would almost pass out and feel very weak and ill for the rest of the day. I know at one point I was below the weight requirement, but that reason no longer exists.
LOL! I just read Junebug's comment. I could have just said "ditto" to hers:o)
This looks like my mum's collection - from all her years in Houston!
Fabulous message and post!
When I was growing up my friend's mom used to give blood. She had certificates about how many *gallons* she had given.
Good for you for giving so often.
What a wonderful theme. And, such an unselfish act! Wonderful you, as always. I tried to give once & they rejected mine. I kinda got mad after that. Cause they took it & then threw it away.
Good for you!
It's an easy way to save a life.
Hmmm! I see a theme here. :)
I was the same as Junebug and never weighed enough to donate. Now I do..you know, that over 40 middle age spread. However, it never crossed my mind..until now. Something to consider. Thanks for sharing and most of all for being a donor.
Happy fun monday

These are great~ the third one is my favourite.
A good and worthy cause in your theme. Sirdar donates, but unfortunately the 3 times I attempted it, it didn't work out well, and it was suggested I should probably find something else to give.
So much talk about blood. Ewww...
Now seriously, this is a good cause. Keep it up.
Fantastic theme! My husband has donated over 80 times. Notice how I said my husband. Me? No way!
I'm anemic, and can't donate - which is rotten, b/c I have NO fear of needles, and actually don't freak out when my blood is drawn. I watch.
I'm surprised none of these shirts have blood stains on them from all the blood you've given!
Are you a vampire? Coz if you are, you're not getting my blood! Well, maybe just a little coz you're cute and you like dogs.
Happy Fun Monday
I pass out when they give me shots - but I really do need to get over it and give some blood!
Just wanted to let you know about a free giveaway at my site this week - come check it out! Thanks!
I can't help but think you've got some sort of a theme going on here.
I used to donate, but now with all the medication I take, it's not really worth it any more. MDW gives every month.
I noticed the theme also!
I would love to give blood but mines got problems and they don't seem to want it.
I have this sudden urge to give blood....
Glad that you do it. I used to. But the last time I did I walked in and they told me to go home because I didn't make an appointment. So I did...and didn't go back. Maybe I should try again?
great shirts! i've been a semi-regular blood donor all my adult life, at least when i'm not anemic.
Excellent shirts and well done for donating I used to at Uni but don't seem to get round to it know a days - should probably look into that!
Great shirts. Everytime I pass a drive lately I have the kids with me (I don't think they'd do well watching, and then I'd be afraid something would happen driving home!)
I need to find a Saturday one, and leave them home with my husband!
Lisa
i tried to donate once and no blood came out...their bag turned into a "testing sample"...whatever that mean.!
I included a couple of donor shirts in my Fun Monday post - I have so many of them ... my most favorite is the American Red Cross one that says "Are you my type?" across the front.
Are you a vampire? High 5 to you for donating...I am so afraid of needles...maybe someday! I am in awe of you!
