Yesterday, I went to pick my grandson up from school. He goes to a private school and all of the parents and/or grandparents line up in their pickup trucks, SUVs, and cars and, one at a time, the kiddos are handed over by the principal of the school. No children are ever loose in the parking lot or on the street.
It's very organized, very safe and really kind of cool because it makes the principal not some old bogeyman but the very nice man that you see every day.
I was running a little late yesterday and in a bit of a rush. I pulled up, minus my camera, of course, just in time to see Dr. Mueller walk the little bitty 2nd grader across the street and help her into the bull rack that her Grandpa had come to pick her up in.
For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it is one of these,
just not as clean as this one.

OH SHUCKS! Don't know what a bull rack is and ... I can't see the photo! Too small. Doesn't enlarge when I click. Is it just me?
Walker, I found a different picture that may be a little clearer. No ocean anymore, but you can't have everything...
That is not something you see everyday in the pick-up lane!!! hee hee
I see them every day. We call them cattle trucks (bulls are rarely transported like that, for reasons that are obvious if you know cattle).
Oh, I forgot....love the new banner.
I have never seen one of those in our pickup lane!
LOLOL Ok, I'm an occasional lurker here...and I have to laugh since I was in that very pick up line and saw the same thing! Only in H-town...

Megnificent - good to hear from you! Checked out your blog - that is the ultimate in minimalism...lol.
Ha! Not a typical sight in Michigan. I bet all her classmates got a kick out of the big truck!

HaHa..Ya, just started it this morning, if you can call it that. I'll get it looking fab before long. Maybe.
That would be so cool. LOL Love the post. :)
Good grief! That is something you don't see everyday!
PS: Thanks for your kind comment! I think JM has it the roughest because I am a teacher...so I can see both sides of the situation! I am sure one day I will laugh about all of this....not anytime soon...but one day...MAYBE! :)
