and then there were seven

There have been changes in the kingdom of dogs - nothing horrendous - you needn't stop reading in fear.

Sadie, the little brown dog who was foist upon me at work by my boss, who is also my neighbor, as the result of her unfortunate penchant for goat-tipping, has gone to live elsewhere.

She and Bug tolerated each other but Bug is really and truly an only dog. She shares, just not very graciously.

Sadie had found her own little places to be but she truly deserved better. She is a very loving, very likeable, very needy little dog.

I could not take her home since I live next door to the goat. By the way, goat-tipping is not all that hard for a little dog, if the little dog is smart enough to pick on Tripod. Yep, Tripod, the three-legged goat.

Sadie went to live about 50 miles away, with my boss's son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Yep, little guy just walking really good who LOVES the puppy.

So, Sadie has graduated from goat-tipping to toddler-tipping. It just doesn't get much better than that.

sounds like a happy endig for all concerned. after all, the toddler will grow bigger and sadie won't be able to tip him.

but how funny that sadie was smart enough to go after Tripod. that had me laughing!

I think the dog will be happy to live with a toddler who will love, squeeze & kiss all over.

And, Tripod, will no longer live in fear of being tipped, which you know, made me laugh, cause I've heard of cows, but goats? That's crazy!

I prefer toddlers to goats but in many ways I see the similarity.
