Not My Idea

This post is at the request of my child.

I am stubborn.

My daughter is, quite possibly, even more stubborn.

My husband? Well, she got it from somewhere, didn't she?

Anyway, here are 4 separate views of the same canister lid. I would love for you, in your comments, to identify what it is on top of the canister lid.

I'm not sure if there's a prize or not, but I would LOVE to have this argument settled.

Thanks in advance.

That is a little red dog. A terrier of some kind, I think. Holding a bone in his mouth.

Did I get it right!?!?

HA! It's wearing a collar and has a bone in it's mouth, then I would have to say it's a DOG!

I am curious to find out what others think it looks like!

BTW~Thank you for your comment. It put a smile on my face.

Is this a trick question?

It is either a polka-dotted hippoalmation OR a dazzling spotted dalmopotamus. You knew that!! Love the dahling collar!

Well I see a dog with a bone and that was before I read the comments made before mine. Are we going to feel foolish!!!

I'm with everyone else. That collar rocks too! It must be a red rover.

TRICK QUESTION -

It looks like a cute little red dog carrying a spotted bone in its mouth - but in reality, it is a fire hydrant.

That's some kind of terrier, most likely a Sottish, with a milkbone.

I'm working my way backwards here - to I already know it is a dog.

I've known a few dogs that were chicken (my rotty for one - who cowered at the door when I made noises thru the vacuum hose)

I don't understand why it's even in question!!
