Boredom - a dangerous thing

A while back, for Fun Monday, we all wrote about the one thing we could not leave home without. My daughter wrote about her ubiquitous hair clip. She is never without a hair clip.

Yesterday, she and I drove to Abilene to meet her husband and pick up her son. We got there a little early. Julie has a very low boredom threshold and I evidently have absolutely no qualms about exploiting her.

She played around for a while and then tried to dissuade me from any more pictures. I did not take the hint.

She made her point clear, very clear (last picture may not be suitable for viewing by small children or conservative folks or people who respect their parents).

I quit with the camera.

Ha! If I used that gesture with my mother, I am fairly sure she wouldn't hesitate to slap me.

And I'm 40.

yep, it's my fault. My mom washed my mouth out with soap when I was exactly my daughter's age for saying 'da*n' in front of her...
