Labor
Day
2007
Yesterday (and the day before) my daughter, my grandson, and I went to the 63rd annual Cal Farley's Boys Ranch Rodeo. Yesterday, my husband took off work and got to go, too.
On Saturday, Julie and the little man and I got there in time for the stick horse barrel race but we had missed the mutton busting.
Sunday we made sure to get there in time for the mutton busting and the barbecue
We saw one of the residences and we also got to see the sports complex. We were checking out the wrestling room which has a padded floor and
Anyway, we all had a really good time and plan on making it an annual event - the rodeo, not the knocking out of the tooth!
I hope that everyone had a great holiday.

What great fun!
I love mutton bustin'...
I just noticed you have a dog named Bug. We have a Boxer named June Bug but call her Bug...unless she's in trouble. Then she gets the full name.
Swampy, thanks for visiting. Our Bug's name is Bug because she bugs everybody! especially the dog we used to have out here, Olivia. Our Boxer's name is Holly which is short for Holly Farms Chicken Lips - we were driving truck, hauling chickens when we got her! No need for an explanation for your Bug's name 'cause Boxers are cute as June bugs.
Great pictures!!! Your grandson is a cutie.
