- have lunch with my daughter
- go to the post office
- go to the bank
- go to the gas station and put gas in the car since we are driving to Abilene tomorrow to pick up the lil man.
- go to WalHell to buy treats for the dogs.
I came home to find the styrofoam tray that had once held the sirloin steaks for tonight's dinner strewn across my house. We have not been eating a lot of steak lately but I was gonna cook something special for my husband tonight. Refer to #4.
Buddy, who was in the crate because he is not trustworthy, is innocent (at least of this).
Duck, who I am sure helped destroy the steaks, is too short to have reached the steaks from where I left them thawing.
Holly, ah yes, Holly. Holly is tall. Holly is stupid. Holly is well fed.
I should just thank God that she does not have opposable thumbs.
Update:
Here is a picture of Holly in self-imposed timeout. All I said was, "What did you do?" She has not come out since.

Awww, poor well fed Holly! She wooks so sad. :*( Brix it is!
I hear that doggie steaks are delish. Ok, well, maybe not. Poor, pitiful Holly, maybe you can have the dog treats for dinner? ;)
Oops!
So no dinner for them tonight!! and what did you end up having?
We had a dog who would slink off to her basket after a misdemeanour and she always looked so sad until I forgave her.
LOl...gotta love holly
oh golly, miss holly, you are gonna have some poops tomorrow!!!
toby used to slink away whenever he heard me say, in my stern voice, "what's this?"
boscoe and riley, however, are absolutely impervious to that reprimand. i think i'm getting soft in my old age.
Ahh...so familiar...our old dog Koni, rest her precious soul, did this also...a huge London Broil..she was so sick, she even ate the styrofoam and plastic. I think she was getting rid of the evidence!!
omigosh.....so what did you end up having for dinner? Your dogs looks so innocent....
our friends the Smiths told us an identical story (the end part anyway)
He ate the styrofoam, too. I wonder if the dog will leave presto logs in the yard?
But look at that face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only a mother could love!!
Maybe I should get Aaron a crate to go to for his time outs. The step is just not cutting it these days!
Ok, now that's funny. But not in a mean way.
We have two cats, two dogs, and an aquarium. I crate the dogs and put the cats in the laundry room when I check the mail (okay, not really). It doesn't matter what I do, they always find a way to destroy something.
And on occasion, it's been dinner!
Dog guilt is the absolute best!! Our wieners rat themselves out just by the tail tucking they do!!
Hallie
Oh man. She looks like she is very sorry. Or really scared! McD and I were just surfing some blog waves and absolutely loved this post.
I read it right after I caught Mia on our bed, which is a big no-no. Huge no-no! She had the same look.
Come by my place tomorrow, you will love the giveaway prize!
Yes, I think her sweet little face says it all. :-)
For all of you who asked, we ended up eating broccoli rice au gratin with spam. Yes, spam. My husband (and my grandson) LOVE them some spam.
I totally know this feeling well!!! it is such fun to watch them to the self time out thing... darn and they knew they were wrong
Oh the joys of counter surfing Boxers. We have three sweet girls who catch a wave on the counter every chance they get!
