I read about this brilliant idea at Nikki's. I am always in need of a little nudge and a little personal accountability. Sometimes, I even just need to be able to remind myself that I am basically a nice person - it gets lost in the sarcastic bitchiness occasionally.
I signed up for this brilliant brain child idea over at On a Limb with Claudia. Basically, I have committed myself to making at least one act of kindness a day for the whole 2008 year. If you would like to take on this challenge too, sign up at Claudia's place. Some simple guidelines are:
Making the commitment doesn’t require that you let anyone know what you do. This is a personal, individual challenge.
Feel free to blog about your commitment on your weblog or on the community weblog (coming soon!)
Claudia has set up a mailing list for infrequent mailings to people who have made the commitment. She plans to share inspiration articles or thoughts. Mostly it’s a way to pass along code for the blogroll and little promo buttons.
You may not get a Everyday Kindness update from me daily, but I will from time to time post what I have done for the day and shamelessly link to the weblog so you can go see what other people have done. Kind of makes you feel squishy inside doesn't it?

I love the picture of the horses across the top of your blog!
If everyone would do an act of kindness of day, this world would be a different place.
Yeah! More people to sign up. Make sure you go to Claudia's place and let her know you signed up so that she can link to your blog too.
Hurray! I'm delighted you are joining us! Whoo Hoo!! I'll see you at: www.everyday-kindness.com! :)
Won't be a struggle for you because you're such a sweet person. :) I'd wish you luck, but why? You don't need it on this one! :)
It sounds like something we should all do.
I won't commit to it (or I might be committed.. ahem)
but I am going to keep it in mind and try to improve my skills in that area
I love this idea.
