I have spent a bit of time this last week applying for jobs, filling out applications, reading the "Thank you, we have nothing for you at this time but we appreciate your interest" letters, and applying for more jobs.
I have, needless to say, been praying that I get a job.
I need to remember to thank God for the unanswered prayers. I need to remember to trust God that, if I didn't get a specific job, it is because He has something better in mind. I need to remember that "no" is also an answer. I need to remember that I have faith and to lean on my faith.
I need to remember that the best prayer that I know, the only one I really need, is this:
Thy Will Be Done.

Sometimes it is difficult to be patient and not become frustrated in these situations. I'm sure the right job will come along. I have frequently found that the path I have actually taken is better than the one I wanted but was not chosen to take (if that makes sense!)
