Here it is. I do not know who took it and I don't remember how I found it, so if I am violating someone's copyright, I apologize. This photo speaks to my soul. It calms me. It soothes me. Even though this location is nowhere near an ocean, it has the same kind of effect on my subconscious as the sound of breaking waves.
For a long time, my computer monitor was so not up to par that I thought the tree was pictured above a cloud bank. Imagine my surprise - and delight - to find an entire forest!
Enjoy and have fun visiting everyone else.

Now that really is a spectacular photo, thanks.
WOW what a photo - living on the edge!
One photo can convey so much, it's lovely. I see a certain loneliness but peace above the forest which is the world we live in.
Glad you mentioned forest...I thought those were clouds.
Wow ! This is spectacular. I need to just sit here and look at it for a while and...

What a wonderful photo!
WoW!! I say that is some photo!! And you know I didn't evan realize that was trees in the back till you mentioned it!! I was too focused on the main tree!!
This photo speaks to me about risk. The other trees are all safely in the crowd, but this one puts itself out there, which is often a lonely position to be in - but it's the highest position, apparently.
