This week's Fun Monday is brought to us by Blue Momma. I signed up for this last week and almost unsigned way more than once. This should tell you why -
I want you to show me your......projects. More to the point, I want to see your unfinished projects. I have so many that I really need some reassurance that I'm not the only one. Home improvement projects are what I have in mind, but it you don't have any of those show me any kind of project - needlework, cooking, scrapbooking, etc. You can even show me your spouse if they qualify as a work in process.
I did not realize until I started looking at ALL of the unfinsihed crapola in my house what a lazy, laptop-addicted, procrastinating slacker I am. But enough - I did sign up so here you go.
My husband, when I said I was going to paint the living room, said that he would handle the trim. It is now a matter of principle...lol. The pictures in the frame are still the ones that came in it from the factory, also. I just haven't picked the right ones of ours to put inside!
Absolutely nothing to say.
The unfinished painting of the hallway.
I am now thoroughly embarassed. Maybe this is the impetus I need to get it done. Pushing publish before I change my mind - and these pics were taken today. I forgot to reprogram the camera's date when I charged the battery. Sorry.

it's not a house unless it has unfinished projects! though i draw the line at putting up pictures of complete strangers.
It takes courage to show flaws. And, I agree with laurie. If it was "finished," it would be time to move.
heh heh -
I made a few holes in the wall last year putting up Christmas decorations and my husband patched them. I was suppose to paint - but didn't. The patch marks are still there.
Everybody has unfinished stuff! That's just the way it is! Except for my sister....she finishes every single thing she starts...
I'm not playing Fun Monday this week...hopefully, I'll catch up next week...
We certainly all do have unfinished stuff. I was just to lazy/busy to bother posting mine this week and resorted to linking back to my sewing ufos. Now I can see it would be much more fun playing with the dogs. Thats what I was doing this afternoon.
Anyone can be forgiven for not finishing painting... Yuck job.
If it were me....I'd drop everything I'm doing and get the paint job done. Why? More so 'cause I LIKE to paint the interior of a home...it's fun. *shrug* I'd rather be painting than cooking. hehehehehe
Are you kidding? There's a lot worse that this around (I'm not just talking Fun Monday)
Willow's talking about my place.
Too funny! But as everyone else says, we all have that. Hmmm... honestly, I think you're convincing me to join Fun Monday. If people can bare their (gasp!) unfinished projects without shame, then I'm in! ;0)

I'll come help! We should all get together and do painting parties at everyone's house. One a week. That would get those unfinished projects out of the way for the most part - it seems that most of the unfinished projects have to do with painting!
Maybe unfinsihed projects are peoples way of feeling like they will be around longer.....i know it doesnt work this way but it sounded good....lol
I'm glad I'm not the only one with unfinished trim work! Though I can only blame myself for mine.
My problem is after I live with the unfinished project long enough I tend not to notice it anymore.
the original pictures still in the frames is pricesless! ha ha ha
I still have a few other people's families in my frames too.
I'm glad you do the picture frame things too I buy a pretty frame and then never get round to printing the photo in the right size!
Thanks for the tip about the cards.
Why should you be embarassed. It looks so normal to me, lol !
I'm with ya on the embarrassment, but obviously (from all the FM people signed up) misery loves company!
I agree, too, posting these pictures IS motivating to get some of these projects COMPLETED! Wouldn't that be a great follow-up FM post six months from now? :)

I had to hit publish quick too, before I lost my nerve. But this just means that we're interesting people, right? Way too busy to do boring home projects. There's so many other fun things out there.
Right?
i think unfinished diy is perfectly normal! :) i need to shoot a few of ours now that i'm looking at everyone else's...
thx for visiting my works in progress :)
Girl! Yours looks better than mine. I didn't have the guts to show the piles and piles of junk that needs to be decluttered! LOL!
I used to keep the orginal photos in my wallet, just to mess with my dh. It really did drive him nuts when I made up stories about the people in there. I think you should do the same with those strange people in your wall frame. :)
Welcome to the real world! Let Martha Stewart weep for all of us! :)
If you would count the % of the area cover, I am sure it would be over 96 %. And in school 96% is a solid "A". Therefore, the job is nearly perfect.
I'm loving all the crosses. Some of those would work well with my collection.
Yup - I have unfinished trim work in my old house, too...and I've been here 14 years!
I had to giggle at the "strangers" on your wall!
Well, you're not the only one with unfinished painting. I didn't take a picture of my son's room. That's his project in my mind. But it will be mine too. :O
LOL! I too am giggling at the strangers on your wall.
I feel your pain. We never seem to finish a project...but we sure dive right in to start it. Take my motto and just say it will be done...one day.
Ok I'm sorry but I'm laughing at the strangers in the picture frames on your wall LOL
Your hallway painting may be unfinished, but your crosses are beautiful.
I LOVE the crosses on your wall. Someday I want to find some pretty crosses to hang in our hallway.
I give up cleaning the area around our computer. The more I get it cleaned and organize, the harder everyone works on getting it all messy again. They win. I got other things to do. ;)
Don't worry about the unpainted trim, you are going the the natural wood look. :D
